Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Reward!

centre:mk itself, alongside our retailers understand just how important it is to commit to the ‘3 Rs’ if we want to develop a more sustainable shopping experience.

We’re proud to say that centre:mk diverts 100% of our waste from landfill! That’s a whopping 1350 tonnes of waste that is recycled. Of that waste, 22% is converted into renewable energy and we recycle 10 tonnes of coffee grounds a month alone from our retailers to use as fertilizer for our landscaping. We also capture 2,088,000 litres of rainwater each year, enough for 35,000 washing machine cycles.
