This session will cover the step by step process to follow when getting started with your own sewing projects.

You will receive a comprehensive talk on the core areas to consider when reading a sewing pattern, including the following key areas:

Fundamental sewing principles
Sizing and measuring
Fabric choice
Fabric quantity
Interfacing

Joining an in-store event

Please arrive at the store at least 10 minutes before the start of the session and make your way to the meeting place which is the 'Discovery Room' on the mezzanine floor. Please bring your ticket with you, either printed or on your phone, and your My John Lewis card or app for ticket redemption.
