Sunset Walk & Silbury Arcade
As part of MK Fringe Festival 2025, centre:mk is proud to showcase the work of two exciting artists whose installations invite reflection, connection, and creativity right in the heart of the city.
Discover Places Togather, a collaborative ceramic tableware project created by an intergenerational team from the YMCA and U3A, alongside artist Thomas Eke. This in-progress exhibition features a unique collection of 12 handcrafted plates, each made within a modular form designed to bring people together at the table. More than an art display, Places Togather invites conversation around community, creativity, and the role of shared experiences in shaping the future.
4 July until 27 July | Sunset Walk, next to Whittard of Chelsea
Experience a moment of calm with A Longer Day, a sculptural installation by artist Zara Ramsay. Crafted from stainless steel woven mesh and inspired by the sensation of rain hitting pavement, this work blends light, movement, and urban texture to evoke a quiet sense of awe. Rooted in both spiritual and scientific ideas, the piece explores the delicate balance between structure and emotion; inviting you to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the natural world through a contemporary lens.
