Here are the changes we have made:1, We have increased staff numbers from 2 to 3. This will ensure that during break times there will always be 2 members of staff running the club at all times. Staff will also receive an additional briefing containing all new safety measures to keep themselves and the little busy bees safe2. All staff will be provided with NHS approved PPE. This will include a Visor with a yellow and black band along the top to match the costumes. Multiple pairs of gloves will also be available for staff to change between every session (10 x sessions in total).3. The club is being made larger, with the addition of new picket fence. This will allow for tables to be 1.5m apart to comply with the 1m+ government guidelines.4. There will be a separate entrance and exit and a one-way system will be in place, to ensure no families cross each other’s paths within the space. There will be hand sanitiser for both adults and children to use before they enter the Kid’s club and also supplied on each table.5. New picnic benches finished with a transparent spray to seal the wood make them easy to clean more frequently.6. Craft tables will be numbered 1-8. Families will be shown through to sit at table 1 through 8, one family at a time, as they enter. At the end of the session, this process will be completed in reverse via the exit.7. Children will need to book onto a session, on the day, with a maximum of 20 bodies (adults and children) within the space at any one time. All families will be asked to complete a Test and Trace card. Numbers of attendees will be assessed and managed throughout the day and no child will be allowed to enter the activity without adult supervision.8. Craft sessions will take place for 30 minutes. After 20 minutes, staff will inform parents that the session is coming to an end in 5 minutes. This will allow for parents to wrap up and then leave 5 minutes for a full clean of the equipment and seating area.9. Parents (not children) will be handed pre-prepared sanitised craft kits on arrival. The craft activity will then be parent-led. Staff will be available for guidance, but to reduce interaction, this will be a family based activity. Only pens will be used by each family. These will be cleaned using anti-bacterial wipes after each session and before welcoming in the next group of families. 10. All parents will be advised on timings and encouraged to come back later for the next session if the current session is full. If they do wish to wait, a socially distanced queue will be formed in the designated space. We look forward to welcoming you back!
