Wired for Sound inspired Fashion Shoot by Bear & Pine at centre:mk Back in 1981 Cliff Richard released what was to be a platinum selling album named after its lead hit single; "Wired for Sound’’. The music video, which was recorded in and around centre:mk, has since been the source of inspiration for childrens portrait and fashion photographers Bear and Pine who wanted to revisit the music videos iconic location for their latest shoot. Jules Rye of Bear and Pine said of the shoot: “We primarily shoot children's fashion wear and are always on the hunt for locations that can help us deliver interesting new work. We were already familiar with the fabulous patterned tiles that adorn the exterior of the John Lewis store at centre:mk and which craftily contain a hidden name if glanced at from afar! When it occurred to us that the Cliff Richard video for "Wired for sound" was famously shot here back in the early eighties, we were excited to devise a way to homage the video with contemporary fashions. With the assistance of centre:mk and a selection of stores based there, we were able to bring our concept to life in the very place Sir Cliff rollerskated into pop culture." All the clothes featured in the shoot are available to buy now at centre:mk, (right: full list of the clothes used in the shoot).
