If you’ve already had enough of the World Cup and are desperately trying to find a way to avoid it then search no more, here at centre:mk we’ve got a few suggestions of better ways to spend 90 minutes with us…
Have some me time in a City Spa
The beauty retreat at the top of John Lewis is a hidden gem at centre:mk perfect for a pre/post shop pick me up. The spa area includes a Clarins beauty spa, blink brow bar and Elemis as well as Jessica Nails. With a variety of treatments, you could do a lot worse than spending 90 minutes in this relaxing getaway.
Grab a picnic and head out to Queens Court
We love our outdoor area, Queens Court at centre:mk – the signature deck chairs have become a much needed restful area for shoppers and city workers on a sunny day. Whilst some of the food stalls outside do show the football, you can just as easily grab a book or a picnic from M&S and catch some rays over an extended lunch hour.
Be tempted by Hotel Chocolat’s ice cream
Yes we all head to Hotel Chocolat for those winter night warmers but did you know that this luxurious chocolate brand also sells Ice Cream in their centre:mk café! Trust us, once you get a taste of their ice cream with pure roasted cocoa you’ll never taste ice cream the same again.
Shop the sales
There are some cracking bargains to be had in the summer sales at the moment, with some stores offering up to 70% off why not spend 90 minutes perusing your favourites from our 190+ store selection. The likes of Yankee Candle are offering 50% off; allowing you to get ahead on (dare we say it) the festive shop… because let’s face it, we’re under 200 days to go!)
Check out our free events
We have so much going on at centre:mk you’d be hard pushed not to find something to keep you entertained beyond shops and restaurants. Check out our what’s on section for the latest selection but be sure to put our Festival Fever weekend in your diary (7th-8th July) where you’ll be treated to free circus skills workshops, entertainers and glitter make-up – all for free out in Queens Court 12-4pm daily.
