centre:mk has always been about more than just shopping (although we do shopping beautifully). We pride ourselves in providing you with an unforgettable experience, every time you visit.
From Cliff Richard on Roller Skates in his hit video ‘Wired for Sound’, to Duran Duran in the planters back in the early 1980s for one of their iconic ‘Planet Earth’ single promos, and spectacular art installations including Liliane Lijn, Philomena Davidson Davis and John Clinch.
Flashing back to 1997 we held the Guinness World Record as the longest shopping centre at 720m. (What an achievement!)
centre:mk has also hosted a range of events for our diverse mix of guests from Sporting Championships to Collectormania and Living Statues to Style Fest. So whether you’re a trend seeker, sporting fanatic or just love a weekend trip ‘up the city’, there is always something here for you.
We can’t forget Christmas at centre:mk; we do more Christmas than anywhere else in the UK! We’ve had Christmas parades, winter wonderlands and let’s not forget Santa on the roof. Making our shopping destination an extra special experience for that magical time of year.
Join us in celebrating 40 years of history at centre:mk and visit our anniversary exhibition starting 25th September in Middleton Hall.
